Actually in an interview, Antonioni also said the same about acting.anuraghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03178119895116619951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8412586.post-1132558215135244382005-11-21T03:30:00.000-04:002005-11-21T03:30:00.000-04:00Nice post. As you have put it , an actor need not be aware beforehand of what is the scene going to be & Fully known of what his part is going to be so that his persona dominates the scene. In any of the cases, there is not much need for the creativity for the artist. We have seen stage plays where months of reharsal takes place and the actor/ress are moulded into the roles. <BR/>I would go to the extend of saying , movies does not have the scope for actors ( I mean Actors cannot be dominant on screen). Stageplays are like Test cricket where it is a actors game mostly but Cinema is Director's take.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8412586.post-1132519035540980412005-11-20T16:37:00.000-04:002005-11-20T16:37:00.000-04:00Hi thereNice post.
